We are delighted to welcome two new members to the Fondation’s Board of Directors, Catherine Sardin and Muriel Suarez, in November 2024.
Catherine Sardin graduated from the EDHEC business school with a master’s degree in marketing. After 2 years in Milan with LVMH, Catherine pursued her career with Levi Strauss, before joining LVMH again, first with Louis Vuitton and then Berluti as Marketing & Communications Director. She moved on to general management and consultancy positions in several houses, including J.M Weston, Maison Lejaby and Alaia. More recently, she joined Roger Vivier as General Director before taking over the management of Maison Psyché, the Rémy Cointreau Group‘s haute parfumerie house, in 2023. Catherine brings a wealth of experience in brand development and a passion for French know-how and excellence, making her a valued asset to the Board.
Muriel Suarez holds a Master 2 in Contract Law from the University of Paris XI. After a year in Canada as Assistant to the President of the Canadian Government, Muriel continued her career at Kering and in 2002 she joined L’Oréal France and then Spain. She subsequently moved to Reckitt Benckiser, Henkel, and COTY as Vice President General Counsel. Since 2021, Muriel holds the position of Group General Legal and Regulatory Affairs Director for the Rémy Cointreau Group, and she also acts as Secretary of the Fondation Rémy Cointreau since 2022. Her involvement with the Foundation naturally makes her appointment to the Board an obvious choice.
On January 11th, 2018, Caroline Martin-Rilhac and Hervé Dumesny, on behalf of Fondation Rémy Cointreau, participated in the Jury for the Prix Avenir des Métiers d’Art national 2017 – level IV and V – at the Institut National Métiers d’Art.
