The 2021 laureates of the Grands Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris

Le Bureau du Design, de la Mode et des Métiers d’Art, previously called Ateliers de la Ville de Paris, is a part of Paris’s projects in favor of artistic professions. It guides, enhances and rewards the professionals of the art circle and brings them together in order to create a national and international ecosystem.

Les Grands Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris are given by Le Bureau du Design, de la Mode et des Métiers d’Art. Those prizes honor exceptional creators in the fields of fine crafts, fashion and design.

The Fondation Rémy Cointreau supports the Fine Crafts category of the Grands Prix, awarding each year an emerging talent and a confirmed professional talent. For this category Caroline Martin-Rilhac, General Delegate of the Fondation Rémy Cointreau, was a member of the Expert Committee and of the jury, under the Chair of Laura Gonzales, interior designer.

FOR THE FINE CRAFTS CATEGORY

The Grand Prix 2021 is attributed to Lily Alcaraz et Léa Berlier !

Lily Alcaraz and Lea Berlier met during their studies. They shared the same passion : weaving. This technique brings a great liberty of creation and realisation. It allows them to invent patterns or textures and to combine different materials with textil. Lily and Lea have an innovative and a traditional approach as they design their projets with digital and crafts devices. In their workshop, they create made-to-measure artworks for luxury houses such as Hermès, the Studio Laubadère, the  Great Design Gallery or the Manufacture Vacheron Constantin.

The Prix Talent Emergent goes to Lucie Touré !

Lucie Touré has always been passionated by crafts and creation. Her passion and her great curiosity allowed her to experiment different techniques and materials of creation although she has dedicated her speciality to the paper. With her entrepreneurship spirit she created her worskshop in 2018.  Since then, she has realised creations with her team, dedicated to the luxury sector.

Congratulation to them !
