Sandrine Raffin’s passion for her work comes from her father. “Twenty years ago, if you were not born into a family of stringed instrument or bow makers, this type of job was completely off-limits to you.” At the age of 15, Sandrine enrolled in the École Nationale de Lutherie de Mirecourt. At 20, she joined a family-owned bow workshop on rue de Rome in Paris.

On November 22nd, 2018, at the town hall of Paris’s 12th arrondissement, Caroline Martin-Rilhac, on behalf of Fondation Rémy Cointreau, participated in the jury for the Grand Prize in Design for the City of Paris 2018.
On January 11th, 2018, Caroline Martin-Rilhac and Hervé Dumesny, on behalf of Fondation Rémy Cointreau, participated in the Jury for the Prix Avenir des Métiers d’Art national 2017 – level IV and V – at the Institut National Métiers d’Art.
