In 2021, Laurel Parker welcomes a young laureate, winner of « the Prix de perfectionnement aux métiers d’arts, Savoir-Faire en Transmission ».
In 2020, the Rémy Cointreau Foundation, whose mission is to promote and support the transmission of savoir-faire and excellence, is joining the City of Paris to create three prizes for advanced development in the arts.
Building on its heritage and relationship with Nouvelle Aquitaine, the Rémy Cointreau Foundation offers Parisians (both young adults or adults undergoing a career transition) the opportunity to perfect their skills in the studio of a Nouvelle Aquitaine craftsman. Or, conversely to young adults or adults undergoing career transition in Nouvelle Aquitaine, to perfect their skills with a Parisian craftsman.
We look forward to counting among them a new laureate in the handcrafted production of artist’s books, boxes and cases in the “Laurel Parker Book” studio.
Agathe Ruelland Rémy joined the team as a graphic designer and Studio Apprentice.
Wilfrid Jolly is a goldsmith and a coppersmith, and one of the 2018 laureates of the Fondation Rémy Cointreau. After a training in applied arts, he has completed his apprenticeship with the goldsmith and Master of Art Roland Daraspe.
Fondation Rémy Cointreau is delighted to welcome Marc-Henri Bernard as a new member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.
