In November 2018, Pascal Renoux, cutlery artisan from Cognac, France, received the Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Finest Workman of France) accolade from his peers, a grand recognition for his 20-year passion.
Pascal’s perfect mastery of his art is one of the reasons for his nomination to the Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) title in the highest category: hunter’s cutlery. This category requires all techniques necessary to craft multi-use knives.
His masterpieces were presented October 22, 2018 in Thiers, France: two knives (one hunting knife, one fishing knife), plus a dagger.
On February 2017, the Rémy Cointreau Group added a new dynamic to its philanthropic policy by founding its eponymous Foundation.
Episode 7 of our video-portraits series on the Fondation’s artisans leads us at 68 rue de Rome in Paris, inside Sandrine Raffin’s bow studio.
